The Academy has teamed up with Model Shoots Abroad to offer one lucky new or existing model the chance to win some fantastic prizes, and earn herself lots of exposure in our new Top Swimwear Model contest! Created by Kerri this contest is aimed at models who wish to become swimsuit models, and even travel the world with it as Kerri has done on various swimwear campaigns - including Starwear US based in Florida!

The Top Swimwear Model winner will be chosen by the public, and enjoy lots of fantastic prizes - including an all expenses paid trip to Majorca to shoot with celebrity photographer Scott Ninness worth £900! The winner will also receive a place in the Model of the Year 2010 final, and be advertised as a swimsuit model with us as well to help her get started out in the industry. We are currently in talks with various swimwear companies and websites regarding sponsorship of this competition with not only prizes, but to chose their favourite girls to shoot with them for their own swimwear ranges as well!

We want to ensure all of our finalists receive publicity and exposure, as well as jobs through joining us in this competition which will officially launch at the beginning of May - so get those entries in quickly girls! You can view more information about the contest and enter it here.

The Kerri Parker Academy could not be more thrilled to announce that we have teamed up with The Miss Great Britain Pageant to set up their official Pageant Training School! The school will be held in London at an exclusive venue in Covent Garden and will be run by Kerri herself, and the Miss Great Britain organiser (and previous winner of the contest!) Liz Fuller.

The school will not only focus on the essential elements of beauty pageants such as the catwalk, posing, and all important interview and public speaking, but also give the girls lessons in confidence building, how to look their best, and how to prepare for all kinds of pageants whether they are regional, national, or international contests!

Both Kerri and Liz have won regional, national, and international titles throughout their years of modelling and beauty pageants - and so they are in the perfect position to teach new models how to become beauty queens themselves!

This week Kerri jets off to Sharm-El-Sheikh in Egypt for a week of photoshoots with the Academy! Kerri will be shooting her official 2011 calendar (2010 calendar as shot on the Red Sea pictured!) for Glocal Calendars the UK's biggest calendar company, and also shooting portfolios for 16 Academy models as well!

The girls attending the trip will receive portfolios, press and magazine shoots with Kerri, and also shoot for the official 2011 Kerri Parker Babes calendar! Of course they will also enjoy a week relaxing on the resorts private beach in 33 degree sunshine and top up their tans as well!

Academy photographers Alan Bulldeath, Alan Crampton, and Mike Wright, and make up artist Samantha Loombe have all been flown out there by Kerri to take part in the trip - which no doubt will be the trip of a lifetime! Kerri will get lots of behind the scenes images and video footage for exclusive galleries so keep an eye out for them at the beginning of May.

Teaming up with UK Beauties the Academy now supplies the UK winners to attend the Miss Bikini International final in China this year and next (and hopefully for years to come!) Winners were chosen at The Model of the Year 2009 grand final last November, and we are delighted to announce that Emma Watson from Norwich and Hayley Arnold from London will be jetting off to China in May for the grand final!

Both Academy girls have won an all expenses paid two week trip to represent their county at the final, where they will compete against winners from countries all over the globe! All the girls flights, luxury hotel, excursions, food and drink and pageant entry have been covered leaving them to enjoy the trip of a lifetime!

Everyone at the Academy wishes Emma and Hayley the best of luck at the final, and we look forward to seeing lots of pictures from their trip when they return on the 1st June!

UK Beauties the official pageant watchdog in the UK highly recommend Kerri's Model of the Year contest and will be using the finalists and Academy girls for several international pageants coming up!

Kerri has now bought the official Miss Norfolk franchise for the Miss great Britain pageant - the UK's longest running and most prestigious beauty pageant! You can read all about the Miss Norfolk contest and view our 2010 finalists here.

Kerri originally won the Miss Norwich pageant for Miss Great Britain back in 2005 and has since then judged the Miss Norwich final for them. She has chosen to change the name to Miss Norfolk to allow even more girls throughout the county to enter! Miss Great Britain was a fantastic experience for Kerri and she is now over the moon to be running the regional heat for them!

In true beauty pageant style 40 Miss Norfolk finalists will take to the stage on Thursday 6th May at the exclusive Sprowston manor in a red carpet event! They will compete in swimsuits, evening wear and club wear to win a place at the Miss Great Britain final. The Miss Norfolk pageant is sponsored by Fitness First, and Max Giamello salon who will be styling the girls hair on the evening!

A big congratulations to Louise Daynes who has made the 2010 Babe squad for Max Power magazine! Louise has had various shoots for the magazine and now will be appearing at all the car shows this year with them.

Voting is still ongoing for the rest of the squad, with many Academy girls making the cut! Kerri as usual let all the girls know the contest was on ensuring loads of our girls made the final cut!

At the same time Kerri let the girls know about the Miss Fast Car contest, and several Academy girls are featured in the magazine this month! A big well done to all our girls! Kerri keeps in regular contact with all the lads magazines she has worked for so the Academy girls can hear about the new contests first and enter before anyone else does!

You'll be able to see Louise working for Max Power at all the car shows this year - Kerri started out with Max Power in 2004 when she beat over 1000 girls to win the title of 'Max Power Babe 2004'. Since then Kerri has had countless features, calendars, live and DVD appearances with the magazine - not forgetting 3 front covers with the magazine and being named one of their top glamour models from the last 15 years alongside Lucy Pinder, Jordan, and Sam Fox!
